The Summer School with Suraya and Alessandro teaching has allowed me to become more aware of my body and how I move. All the other activties lecture/discussions were inspiring, especially the great atmosphere of the whole group.

Hilal Dance Week 2022

Join us this year for our unique summer school! A fantastic opportunity to participate in a course of dance; come to experience an intensive training at the Demidoff  School of Dance, while making new friends from all over the world. The course is open to people of all dance levels and ages.

Lessons description:

Lessons will include the special Hilal bodywork; building on flexibility, strength and coordination, focusing and centring using breath to release tension and find efficiency in movement. In a supportive environment, participants will be encouraged to find a free and integrated approach to dancing, exploring a range of technical principles that will give freedom of movement in body and space. There will be a progression towards focusing on movement quality and musicality and creative improvisation. Overall, the lessons are well rounded and energetic and will highlight the enjoyment of moving together.

Cost of the Week:

The cost of the Week is € 400,00 and includes: dance lessons, discussions and lectures.

Confortable accomoddation in the Best Western Plus CHC Florence Hotel, (Within walking distance to the Demidoff Dance School).

The Hotel rate is paid by the participant directly to the hotel. You will be given rates of hotel and programme when you apply.

We require a deposit of € 350 to secure your booking when you apply. Once we receive your application, you will receive the necessary information on how to proceed with the payments. Full payment is due by the 24th June 2020.
